Holy God. cinema has been redefined. this is beyond the level of mastery. Blade Runner is so beautiful and ugly all at once I love it... I'm guessing the person who made the decision not to use Vangelis music for the preview, probably never saw the film, right.

Roger Deakin's cinematography is beautiful, stunning and haunting and massively adds to the dark, demonic, dystopian nature of the film. The cinematography deserves an Oscar nomination at least! The plot is occasionally hard to follow but the movie gets you thinking and asking questions. Some are answered, whereas some are not meant to be answered. Yes the film is long and not full of action, but then again it's not supposed to do that. It's supposed to build a legacy and ultimately it will gain a cult following no doubt.
